Hello! I had my first son, 36 years ago in rural northern Idaho. My husband and I taught ourselves the fundamentals of natural childbirth (via Elizabeth Bing's books, etc.) as we could not find any classes being offered at that time and place!!! My commitment to labor and postpartum support continued as I participated in many hospital and home births of friends and family. Now, having come full circle, I am a loving, lucky Grammie to one year old, Jack.

My previous professional careers...graphic designer, interior designer,
gift company owner... are fading into the background while my heart calls
out to "finally" become a certified birth and postpartum doula!!! I completed both birth and postpartum trainings and am a member of DONA.
